Swami Vivekananda
"Education is not amount of information that is put into your brain and runs riot there, undigested all your life. We must have life building, man making, character making, and assimilation of ideas. If you have assimilated five ideas and made them your life and character, you have more education than any man who has got by heart a whole library". Swami Vivekananda

True education should produce balanced personality in whom intellectual, emotional and spiritual values are harmoniously developed.
In the children the following qualities are nurtured:

* Self-confidence with utmost faith in God
* Academic education
* Self sustenance
* Communication and social skills
* Maintenance of a well-nourished body
* Selfless service to the society
* Awareness and practise of Indian
 culture
Mission & Vision
The relentless pursuit of the school has been to lay the foundation of a noble character in the young minds by instilling in them the eternal and universal values of truth, patriotism, brotherhood and moral integrity so that they grow up as ideal citizens who can shape the destiny of the self, families and bretheren.
Character Building Education
At Nachiketa Tapovan Vidya Mandir, apart from providing free formal education , we introduce spiritual syllabus to the children in order to mould them into complete human beings. If we see today’s society, the young and energetic children are not able to cope up with the stress and competition in education, so they are committing suicides. Some children are choosing the wrong path and ruining their lives.

Today we find that the culture of old age homes are on the rise. So also is the divorce rate. Modern education is only bread earning education but not life making or character building education. Today’s education may make you an intellectual animal but not a human being in the fullest. Modern education is self centered education. Swami Vivekananda says that, all the problems of our society lie in our education system. That is the reason why so called educated people are looting our nation and any nation without values loses its glory.

 Hence, in order to build a better nation , value based education is a must. Keeping the future of each individual and our nation in mind, we have introduced spiritual syllabus in our curriculum. Spiritual syllabus gives strength to fight or cope up with all the difficulties of all aspects of life. Spiritual syllabus makes a child realize, his/her personal, family, professional and social responsibilities and makes the child into a complete human being and an enlightened citizen. Our spiritual syllabus makes Vidya Mandir different from other schools.
